The Hôtel de Glace comes and goes once a year, but the memories last forever.
Hôtel de Glace is the exclusive ice hotel in North America. Each winter the creative team of artists begins anew creating an experience of magical enchantment and each summer the hotel disappears under the unforgiving rays of the sun. Winter guests can experience the thrill of sleeping in a palace completely made of ice and snow. With arches of snow exceeding five meters and crystalline ice sculptures the hotel electrifies with its glittering décor.
The hotel hosts thousands of visitors but few are brave enough to spend the full night. Most guests come for a tour and dinner but shiver at the thought of sleeping in an ice bed, regardless of it being a queen sized one covered in deer skin.
Virtually the only place to warm up is the outdoor hot tubs.
For those of us not daring enough to try it out pictures will have to suffice.
