Living like a celebrity looks like fun! Here are pictures of some of our favorite celebrity kitchens and bathrooms. Some are pretty extreme but you can get some fabulous ideas that you can easily imitate.

The place Chase calls home is a penthouse rental in the trendy Financial District building Dwell95. His home is decorated from top to bottom by French superstar designer Philippe Starck. The home is infused with Starcks brand of chic modernity, a mixture of “nature” and “classic”.

The bathroom has a sleek, clean look with marble tiling and a contemporary vanity.

The kitchen has the earthy tones of nature but harmonizes beautifully with classic lighting and modern appliances and hardware.

As expected there is fashion history in DVF’s master bathroom. The screen was created by one of Coco Chanel’s assistants, out of strips of silk that once belonged to the designer. The free standing soaker tub gives the room a diverse ambiance as befitting the designers flair for originality.

The park Avenue 5,000 Squire foot apartment that is home to cosmetic star Jeanine Lobell and her husband, actor Anthony Edwards, is eclectic and colorful as her makeup line Stila.

Jeanine found a kindred spirit in architect and designer Rafael de Cárdenas, a former fashion and production designer whose interiors, not to mention personality, effect a gravitational pull on the creative crowd. “I rarely need to get formal approval for my choices from my clients,” the designer says, “which says a lot about the kind of people they are. They’re brave, and they don’t want anything expected.”

The stark black and white wall paper in the powder room, perhaps the most traditional room in the house, is perfectly balanced by a vintage style vanity and pops of color in accessories.

The kitchen’s acid-green cabinets are definitely different and debatable but the simple farm sink and classic wall hung pot filler are classics and provide the kitchen with a sense of balance.

Famed musician John Mayer, whose music ranges from acoustic rock to pop and blues, likes to chill at home with his numerous Grammy awards in a clean-cut Manhattan apartment decorated by Armani. His apartment is a warm retreat from the hustle and bustle of the taxi cabs and busy Wall Street bankers.

In the kitchen, several bar seats are positioned against the kitchen island. With aligned hanging lighting fixtures ,stripes and streamlined chair legs, the lines mimic the slats of the stained hardwood floors. The seat cushions in beige and white also contrast quite nicely to the woodsy kitchen cabinets and fridge.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban just spent $10 million on a New York City duplex, complete with river views, a “sky garage” and two Kramer-esque neighbors: Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana.

Each bedroom features an en-suite private bathroom with custom designed oiled teak cabinetry, pickled teak flooring with oil wax finish, and imported french glazed lavastone pyrolave counters with eased edges. This is the classic kitchen in Nicole and Keith’s former home. The stunning mix of neutral hues, modern faucets and appliances and attention grabbing accessories make it a captivating room.

Unlike the décor in His flagship store in Manhattan’s Rhinelander mansion, Ralph Lauren was motivated by the “simple, almost primitive desire for clean, open space” in the Fifth Avenue duplex where he and his wife, Ricky, raised their family. With views of NYC’s Central Park it’s a truly stunning home.

The master bath, which overlooks the Central Park reservoir, features mirrored and white-lacquer cabinetry, and a countertop and floor of Thassos marble.

The kitchen has ovens and a cooktop by Wolf, a custom-made vent hood, and cabinetry of white lacquer and stainless steel; the island is sheathed in Celador, and the Bertoia barstools are by Knoll.
