Add Inches & Interest with Vertical Stripes

Every fashionista knows that vertical stripes are slimming (though many will avoid them so as not to look like they’re trying too hard). But did you know that adding vertical stripes to your walls can make it look taller? Besides for adding an element of interest to the room, vertical stripes have the power to elongate virtually any room. So if you’re afraid to pattern a low-ceilinged room, don’t be! Those stripes will give it the illusion of height.

Try subtle, tone-on-tone stripes for just a hint of character:
