4 Celebrity Bathrooms

If you’ve always assumed that the rich and famous have fancy powder rooms, you are only half right. Most notions of a celebrity bathroom involve images of waterfalls, fancy Jacuzzi tubs and expansive bathroom vanities. But as the examples from below illustrate, celebrity bathrooms can run the gamut from composed and stylish to downright basic.

Collette Dinnigan

This Australian-based designer has adorned the likes of Elle Macpherson, Tori Spelling, Halle Berry, Naomi Watts and Angie Jolie with her high fashion clothing. In this classy, well-lit bathroom (one of five in her Sydney, Australia home) her wall-mount bathroom faucet allows her to stylize her bathroom with a lower profile bathroom vanity with the plumbing kept hidden away within the wall. This look would also go great with a vessel sink and a bathroom vanity from Fairmont Designs.

Mark Ruffalo

This is one of the three bathrooms in the Los Angeles home recently sold by Mark Ruffalo, who you may recognize from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Collateral and Just Like Heaven. An older home, this bathroom maintains its period charm with its hardwood floors and simple bathroom vanity. Get a similar look with Empire bathroom vanities.

Holly Madison

Holly Madison, best known as Hugh Hefner’s number one girlfriend on the reality show Girls Next Door, but also appearing in Scary Movie 4 and The House Bunny, recently moved out of a Santa Monica condo that featured this bathroom. While apparently a bit small on space for her, the vanity and basin (MTI  Solid Surface Above Counter Lavatory Basin) show excellent taste with their stylish lines and clean design.  If you’re considering a modern update for your bathroom a Sonia vanity can create a fetchingly contemporary centerpiece.

George Clooney
In this video, George Clooney takes us on a tour of the bathroom he’s using while on a humantarian mission in Chad. Not quite the spectacular accomodations you’d expect for an award-winning movie star! With a hose for a shower and a bucket to flush, he’s not exactly in the lap of luxury. A nice Jacuzzi spa and a modern vanity to go along with the single lever bathroom faucet may spruce things up a bit. But of course, one can hardly complain while doing good works.
