These are great steps to creating the bedroom of your dreams! This is the room where you spend a lot of your time, so why not go all out? The pictures in your article are great examples of beautiful bedrooms that are all very different. Like you said, finding your style and portraying it throughout your room is the first step. We decorated our bedroom contemporary cause thats whats in so my wife wanted it. And it really does not feel personal. It feels like a hotel. I really agree with you that a master bedroom has to be a place you can feel like yourself.

Interesting ideas! That white modern bedroom owner definitely doesn’t have kids! That wouldn’t last a day in my house – unless I’d lock the kids out
