Celebrity Bathroom Vanities and Tubs

Celebrity homes are a constant source of interest and curiosity – especially when it comes to decorating our own homes. For those of us starting our bathroom renovations, it can be difficult to decide what direction to take or which mood to evoke with your bathroom vanity and decor. If this sounds like you, take some time to draw some inspiration from these bathrooms found in multi-million dollar celebrity homes.

Kiefer Sutherland's Bathroom
Kiefer Sutherland's Bathroom

Kiefer Sutherland, famous for his starring role in the Fox series 24, sold his Greenwich Village home for about $3.5 million dollars. The bathroom is small for celebrity standards, but quite lavish for New York City. The blue tile adds a nice touch of color and texture while the understated vanity does the trick without overpowering the smallish space. Look closely, and you’ll recognize a marble countertop and polished brass hardware. Get a similar look with an Empire bathroom vanity from The Malibu Collection.

Kim Kardashian's Bathroom

This West Hollywood bathroom is from TV star and socialite Kim Kardashian’s $1,099,000 home. The dual sink vanity makes this an easy bathroom for a couple to share and the roomy bathtub is appropriately adorned with candles, which, when lit with the lights low, create a hypnotically relaxing mood flickering in the mirrors. The only way that bath could be more soothing is if it were a whirlpool tub – which it very well may be!

Nicholas Cage's Bathroom

Actor Nicholas Cage is in financial dire straits, and his $1.7 million cottage in Orange County remains unsold, even after the price was slashed to $1 million. This bathroom was originally built in 1913 and retains much of its turn of the century charm. The blue tiles compose a coordinated look and the sunlight pours in amply in classic “bring the outside in” Californian fashion.  The glass separating the bath tub looks new, but the bathroom vanity could be original.

This opulent powder room is from a luxurious co-op on New York city’s Park Ave. Because real estate transactions don’t always list the identity of the buyer and seller, it’s unclear who owns this little urban palace – but with a price tag of $24.5 million, you better believe that whoever owns this place is good at what they do! The unique bathroom sink has exposed piping and is flanked by stately shaded bathroom lighting.  We like the idea of a China sink embellished with brilliant metal plumbing and fixtures – Villeroy and Boch pull off an updated version of this look with the Amadea Console bathroom vanity.

Rachel Uchitel's Bathroom

Rachel Uchitel, made infamous in tabloids for her alleged relationship with pro golf phenom Tiger Woods, listed her “ground floor penthouse” in Las Vegas for $1.35 million. This is the bathroom. The vanity is handsome with a big presence and the marble around the bath tub makes a bold statement. The vanity is similar to the Fairmont Designs Town and Country

As you can see, you can buy a variety of looks and styles in the bathroom. Take some lessons from celebrities – many of whom undoubtedly hired professional decorators – and create a truly memorable atmosphere for your own luxury bathroom.
